Sample Language for a Simple Bequest:
“I give, devise, and bequeath to Fresh Energy, Saint Paul, Minnesota, 55102 (percentage of residue, sum or description of property), the principal and income of which shall be used for such purposes as the Board of Trustees of Fresh Energy may determine.”

Fresh Energy is a charitable organization exempt from taxation under section 501c(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Donations are tax deductible to the extent permitted by law.
