Individual Gifts Director

Fresh Energy is seeking an exceptional individual for a key role in this dynamic, fast-growing nonprofit. We’re the region’s only policy advocacy organization focused solely on energy. The laws and regulations we champion are vital steps toward an energy system that supports thriving economies, vibrant communities, a healthy planet, and energy independence.

This newly created position will report to the deputy director and manage the identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of individual supporters at all gift levels. This will include collaboration with board members, the executive director, program staff, development director, and our communications department. Fresh Energy continues to experience steady growth in its base of individual supporters. We are seeking an accomplished fund raising professional to design and implement a comprehensive program that will build upon this success and create long-term growth.  

Qualifications
At a minimum, the position requires a bachelor’s degree plus a minimum of five years of experience and demonstrated success managing a similar effort. Experience with Raiser’s Edge is preferred. Competitive salary based upon qualifications plus benefits package including life, health, dental, and disability insurance, tax-deferred retirement plan, and a transit use subsidy.
