Erin Stojan Ruccolo first joined Fresh Energy in November 2002 as an organizer for the JustEnergy program working for fair energy policy solutions for imported hydroelectric power that hurt people and the environment. In 2004, she became the RE-AMP Commons Coordinator, organizing the online community of RE-AMP, a network of over 70 nonprofits and foundations in seven states working for Midwest global warming solutions, at www.reamp.org. Currently, Erin serves as Fresh Energy's Senior Policy Associate, assisting the Clean Energy Director to develop and execute strategic advocacy initiatives, and contribute to the effectiveness of our RE-AMP allies across seven states. Before her work at Fresh Energy, Erin served as Chair of the State Board of Directors for the Minnesota Public Interest Research Group, and organized with MPIRG as part of the POWER coalition to prevent electricity deregulation in Minnesota. Erin is motivated by her belief in a fair, equitable energy system. She received BA degrees from Hamline University in Political Science and Environmental Studies and minors in Biology and Social Justice. |
