Ethan Fawley, Transportation Connections Coordinator

Ethan joined Fresh Energy in September 2008. As the Transportations Connections Coordinator, Ethan performs research, writing, outreach, and advocacy to advance transportation policy, and is a regular contributor to Fresh Energy publication, Momentum. Before joining Fresh Energy, Ethan served as a neighborhood planning consultant for three St. Paul neighborhoods, facilitating community processes and drafting neighborhood-level plans. He was also an active volunteer with the Sierra Club's Land Use and Transportation Committee. Ethan strongly believes you should love your work, so he's chosen to combine his passion for non-automobile transportation and desire to help the environment in his efforts here at Fresh Energy. He sees his car dying years ago as one of the best things that could have ever happened to him. Ethan is the biggest soccer fan on staff and has a lifelong goal of never missing another World Cup. He holds a BA in Geography, with a minor in Urban Studies from the University of Minnesota and a Masters of Urban and Regional Planning from the U of M's Humphrey Institute of Public Affairs. He is a member of the American Planning Association and the Association of American Geographers.
