Contact: PSA profiles Upper Midwest's unique position to be clean energy leader Saint Paul, MN...Fresh Energy, the leading clean energy policy organization in the Upper Midwest, has teamed up with the Renewable Energy Systems (RES-Americas), one of the largest wind companies in the world and which recently opened its fourth U.S. office in Minneapolis. Fresh Energy and RES-Americas have joined forces to produce a public service announcement aggressively promoting the development of clean, renewable energy for the health of the economy, the environment, and our communities. "The Upper Midwest is commonly referred to as the Saudi Arabia of wind," said Fresh Energy executive director Michael Noble. "But the Upper Midwest can also be a global leader in clean energy, and the economic benefits and jobs that come with it. Our wind resources in particular make our region a natural leader in the transition to a clean, innovative, and efficient energy system for the 21st century."
